Carry Hope with Print Magazine

Check out Ed Fella’s Carry Hope design for Pacifica Radio available from Print Magazine, available here in a limited edition of 25 totes.
Print Magazine just released 12 awesome and amazing tote bags for their Carry Hope project. We’re honored that Part of It– in it’s own small way– helped to inspire such a project. It’s the kind of ripple effect that is at the core of our endeavor!
Print magazine writes on their blog, “We’d seen [designers] make inspiring designs for initiatives like Part of It, Gluekit’s groundbreaking, ongoing project through which designers make art for bags and T-shirts sold to raise funds for a cause. So we invited 12 of our own favorite designers to submit tote designs to be sold in support of their chosen charities.”
Check out all the great designs at Print and help support some very good causes!
Part of It now available at Thread in New York!
Part of It on Core 77′s Holiday Gift List

Kind words from the folks at Core 77 who have put together a gift guide for the fast-approaching holiday season:
“Fundraiser tote bags might be a bit of a bore, but the designs featured at partofit.org provide a satisfying twist. An up-and-coming artist or designer designs each bag, with proceeds donated to a charity of their choice. Our favorites include Ken Meier’s Let’s Be Honest, benefitting Free Press, and Mark Owens’ Inherit the Wind, benefitting the American Wind Energy Association.’
Thanks C77!
Part of It Gets Imprinted!

We were super pleased to find an image of the Alphabet shirt that Daniel Eatock designed for Gluekit’s Part of It proect in his brilliant recent monograph Imprint (2008). For more insight into Eatock’s meticulous practice and his projects, check out Eatock’s website and, in particular, the section on Imprint itself.
Who’s Gonna Drive You Home Tonight Photo

Part of It announced the launch of this amazing and heartfelt design last month, but we’re thrilled to now share a photo of this bag– featuring Garrett Morin’s art– in action. Garrett chose RightRides as the charity he’d like to benefit from sales of this design. Read more about the design and its meaning here.
