Part of It artist and all-around prolific dude Mike Perry (creator of the “It’s Just You and Me” tee) is part of another wonderful endeavor: Live Now – A Community of Happiness.

Founded by Eric Smith (idrawallday) after he was diagnosed with cancer, Live Now celebrates the notion of pursuing conscious and happy lives with typographic renderings of positive and uplifting statements from a growing community of type aficionados. Check out the website— it’s a great reminder to make the most of every moment and live life with zest and passion.

Mike Perry Eames Rocker - Patterns Found in Space 2009 exhibition

Part of It contributor Mike Perry has a new solo exhibition, The Patterns Found in Space, up at Giant Robot in New York City. The show features more than twenty new works by Mister Perry, who is a master pattern-maker, author, illustrator, and all-around prolific graphic whiz. The show includes a pair of beautiful hand-illuminated Eames Rockers as well as a tasty assortment of original art works and prints.

Mike has a special place in the Part of It pantheon as one of our very first participants. His “It’s Just You and Me” t-shirt is an important work in the Part of It catalog, and we’re super glad to see him and his work in the spotlight!
